The staff at Calypso were friendly, and the recently refurbished room provided a refreshing retreat after our busy days. Excellent food choice and splendid entertainment options enhanced our stay!

The hotel is modern with daily room cleaning and a great breakfast buffet offering plenty of choices. The terrace pool bar is good for relaxation and the 6th-floor room provided a large balcony.

Everything was very good, magnificent location to entertainment for the adults, the staff were exceptionally attentive. The family room I was given was complete with 2 bunkbeds for the children and top note plus fresh towels. The service here was very good. Had opportunity to use wake up calls at no cost.

The hotel has an excellent all-inclusive option with various dining choices breakfast included a mix of cereals and fresh fruit. Staff were always friendly, especially rosario who was lovely with the kids. We enjoyed our time at the calypso.

We had a wonderful time! The food was consistently beautiful for every meal, and the al fresco restaurant was a perfect touch. the pool area felt a bit cramped and could use more space.

No air conditioning as it is advertised on net and no hair dryer in rooms as advertised....false advertising very disappointed and to add to that no cushions on sun beds..... Come on hotel calypso this day and age. Situation in the middle of nowhere. Poor grumpy old bar man. Very bad for hotel to see such an unhappy man serving the public. Put him in the kitchen where he can't be seen,,,,,,

The pools were perfect for my five kids, and they especially loved the free kids' club with fun activities. Our family enjoyed laid-back afternoons at the snack bar with a good variety of food, including children-friendly options like chicken nuggets.

My kids wished for a more spacious area around the pool.

The staff was not very friendly and they didnt tell us what time we had to check out from the hotel. We has two rooms with children and had a late nite. The next morning, from 8 oclock the cleaners started banging our doors and disturbing us, untill lastly my husband had to literally scream at them as we wanted some rest. Then at 11 oclock they call us from reception and tell us that check out was at 10 oclock. We told them that normally in all the hotels it is at 12, and that we were not informed about this when checking in. So we put a reclamatin against the hotel too. The rooms too, are pretty small, in comparision with the price they are charging.
